3TPAM mod question

I'm considering buying the 3TPAM (Link Here) and was wondering if it is possible to link one of the USBs on it to the Androidlink/iPhone iconnect USB located next to the cigarette lighter?

So basically I like using the direct USB connection with my android phone so I can use Google maps and other apps with the toyota. If I mount my phone above the radio screen then I'm going to have a cord dangling from the phone down to the USB. I'd prefer to just run it to the USB supplied with the 3TPAM instead, which will clean up wire clutter considerably. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks

 

I just installed mine last week. I’m no electrical expert so I can’t definitely say but I think it would be a lot of work, if possible. (Everything is possible with enough time & money)

The 3TPAM has a unit that is the 2 USB chargers itself. So I don’t think you could easily swap 1 USB plug out, but if you are crafty could replace that bit entirely with something that does what you want.

 

Anyone else have any suggestions or experience?
