Did they change the XB?

I have a pair of Gen2 from my last truck and swear the DRL is white (they're not installed on the current truck yet or I'd confirm that.) They're for sure Gen2 because they've got the startup sequence.

 

Good question, Morimoto has an option for amber or white now on the Gen2.

Got tired of waiting on MESO to get their puddle pods in stock so I bought some V1s from @darkside2k19 and finished up the install last night.

 

Nice. I did the same a few months ago but on my bravo. I wish I would have went with amber, especially for spring and summer months. I have an extra set of the meso pods and may get a set of amber and switch out when the bugs are out in full force. White for winter only and I should have known better. And you are spot on about brightness.

Installed a Teton Workshop shift knob. I'm very Impressed with the quality of this thing.


Added some organizing bits to the center console

And the sunrise from the front porch the other morning because it has to be shared

 

Mounted a set of "lower end" traction boards between the storage boxes on the Prinsu. Fabricated some mounting pins using aluminum tubing, stainless carriage bolts and lock nuts, and some rubber/stainless washers. Found some coated fence mending plates that worked perfect as a clamp plate and some stainless/plastic knobs to hold em tight.

Just have to figure out a lock system now since MF'ers be stealing everything these days. although maybe I won't bother since these aren't overpriced Maxtrax.
