It depends on your driving habits and your trucks setup.If you drive normal most all report anywhere from 1 to 3 mpg's better. If your hammering it from light to light mpg's will not increase. Same on the highway if your driving normal you will see an increase most likley. The throttle choices again go towards your driving habits. If you want to have a quick response with the pedal then our most aggressive is for you. I will allow you to test drive each throttle if needed. Or you can change it later if you want more or less.

 

Sorry if this question has been asked before but I was wondering if the KD Max 6.0 tune was California legal? I'm not 100% sure but I thought I remember people saying it wasn't legal in CA. I only ask because I've heard great things about it and was let down when i heard it wasn't gonna be legal for people in CA.

 

How does that work? Can you at least view their specs/changes to make another one?

 

Yes it has been tested and passes CA tests.

 

Locked tunes cannot be opened in Vftuner—At all. They can only be flashed.

 

Have you heard of california enforcing which tune versions are allowed now? Not even just about the emissions now.. Unsure how they would check since I've heard that it even shows up stock to Toyota's systems?

 

I think they just look for versions that are very different from stock or versions that alter emissions.
I am really not sure, but so far we are passing with the KDMax tune.

 

Did a KDMAX house call for Ed Senior and Ed Jr in Beaumont this morning. 2021 we started out on SLT Ed Senior wanted more so bumped him up to LT, Going try that for a while and see how he likes that. Met up with Josh @TaCaliComa this afternoon to get him hooked up with KDMAX Reg throttle. In his Black vinyl wrapped 2020 He came back from his test drive with that smile!
