If anyone is looking for a set of OEM steelies from a 2nd gen I have a set with tpms, center caps, and lugs that I’ll sell. Can provide pics and such, but since people were talking about them figured I’d throw it out there.

Nope. Been sitting around dry rotting all the things and rusting all the things because it's been sitting for almost 30 years unused.

That's just as bad as being run that whole time just for some different reasons and failure modes.

Absolutely would need a ton of work but still a hell of a find.

 

I have a second with smoked rubber. If anyone is trying to set up a second set of winter wheels or something. Also free.

For that price, with the dents and body work it needs + the work it needs elsewhere in the engine and driveline, you can get a new one and a used second gen at the same time. Cool find but meh. The body work looks like it isn't a candidate for PDR so would need a respray so the benefit of factory paint is lost.

 

When I first saw it it was at like 17k. I wasn't a buyer then but I still think it's cool.
Bet it sells for 40k and lives in a garage forever

 

It's up to $32k with 4 days left, so I bet you're right. I agree with others that sitting around all that time is not good for the engine and would be a lot of work. Still, pretty cool to find something 30 years old with less than 100 miles.

This guy is an idiot, telling people it's a Pro and saying the window sticker even states it. None of the window stickers say anything but Off Road, and a little cut out piece of paper saying it's a Pro. They didn't make access cab Pro's, nor a Pyrite Mica Pro. I had to school him some on this and his return comments were not pleasant.

 

Despite being not an actual Pro, it does still look like a decent enough deal he's probably looking for 23-25 with that price set.

 

Yeah not bad but zero pics of the frame though. I asked for some.

 

Guess he messed up the “pro” package by changing out the wheels. And by his logic, I also own a pro, as my vin has come up listed as pro.
