It's the level ( volume) of the yell that indicates the relative importance of the communication!

Morning. Up way too early on a Saturday. Countertop installers appointment at 0700. They’re government employees, they’ll be late, right? Fuck no, 0701 there ringing the doorbell. Bastards.

Cool breezy day here at the rim. Might rain later.
Steam trim arriving in about an hour. Must go see it.

haha, when I was stationed at Eglin we used to go to the chow hall in the base hospital, as they typically had the best tasting food, lots of officers in that area. So on our way in or out of chow hall, we would string ourselves out in single file, so the officers would have to solute each of us in turn. Usually, by the third or fourth guy, their return salutes started to get rather sloppy.

    speaking of better food…
The Coasties culinary school is in Petaluma CA. They ‘practice’ by feeding the masses. That was some of the best food and service I’ve had on base.

The best Military Chow Hall food I ever ate was in the enlisted Chow Hall at Edwards AFB . They have their food cooked and prepared by Civilians

The Marine Corps gets their food from food scraps the Army has leftover

The people of Walmart in their natural habitat !!

I'm sure I've complained many a time about the chow hall food. But in all honesty, it was rarely bad food. I frequently ate in the chow hall as an NCO getting paid BAS. Breakfast at midnight chow was my favorite!
