I just did mine too. What a difference.

Although mine was nowhere near as built up as yours. Just a little carbon on the seat.

 

Shit... momma been gone. We do what we want... went to country in the park and asked izzy to pick out a step mom. He spotted 1. I spotted 52. Decisions decisions. Lol

 

How long did it take you to complete this?

 

Couple of hours. Including a bunch of other cleaning while I was in there.

 

Probably 70k miles since I last did it. I don’t daily the Tacoma anymore, so I didn’t pay attention to how bad it had gotten. Might start using it more now that it runs good. At least until daughter comes home for Christmas.

 

Ran up to Lake Berryessa for a quick drive. I hate how fisheye makes my tires look odd.

 

Yikes! That was pretty dirty. I have a k&n filter (on the truck when I bought it) that I thought was helping air flow .... but after taking apart the throttle body, I can see that all the intake does is suck oil from the filter and stick to the throttle body valve and help create build-up. And I wonder how much makes it past the valve?

 

Added a new one to the stable over the weekend:

 

did you run it through Adobe at all? There are some distortion fixes that might help slightly. Also distortion increases on edges so if you have high enough megapixel you can take some steps back and crop down later.

Take away the wheels and rear fender fins and it’s a pinto. Nice wheels even made pintos look good.

My containers for used but in good condition. Im located in SF but travel to sac and truckee areas often.
