Cool night riding shots! It's hard to capture night riding effectively but that video was on-point. Was it fully dark outside?

    BMX bike rack…

anyone ever used the YAKIMA Raptor for 20-24” bikes? Just picked two racks up for my son and I… we race BMX. Just looking for any feedback on these as far as non-MTB’s go to ease of use and haw secure smaller bikes are?

    Cheers-

Was certainly interesting. I did a few short XC races with it and rode it a total of 2300 miles before having to retire it. I’m not a small individual either at 6’2” and 205lbs without gear and I ride all my bikes relatively ‘hard’.

Still out of commission with my pinky and now, gout on my big toe. However, I was able to get some fly fishing done while I was home. Also. replaced my 20 year old OEM suspension on my 2001 1st Gen (Icon Stage 1, UCA, AAL and diff drop). While I was at it, I also replaced the 12 year old cracking tires with some K02s (32's). The suspension and new tires worked great for what I use the truck for in Idaho. Before and after pictures included. I love this old truck more than my 3rd Gens.

Been there done that. Pain so I couldn't walk. Right big toe, left knee and sometimes ankles. Get the Allopurinol, no side effects but there is an initial break-in period where you might need the Colcrys concurrently until your uric acid level stabilizes. I've not had a flare for many years now. Just drink tons of water, eat greens and lots of fruit. Lean meats are fine but no gravy...lamb and beef gravy are killers for me. Drop weight. Take Mg at bedtime. Cut alcohol down or out.

    Keep riding!!

    not enough.
I was at Big Mountain Enduro at Brian Head this weekend. I was supposed to ride but couldn't because of my elbow dislocation and needing to heal up. So I sold my spot to a friend and went to watch and support them all. Saw a very serious crash right in front of me. One of the pro women ate it pretty damn hard requiring them to hold the race. But it's awesome to see humanity come together. resort patroller was there (thankfully) and a load of us helped get her off the track and on a board.

Also saw Cody Kelley just RIP through sections that other riders were struggling with and eating shit on. Including that serious crash. buttery smooth riding. These pro's are just a completely different level of fitness, finesse, and crazy. lol. Overall good time. Wish I was able to race i though. :/

Cody is definitely one of my favorites to watch. Just one of those guys that rip no matter what.

One of the crappy things about working part time at a bike shop is impulse buys. I'm trying to put money aside for a Stanton Sherpa or Slackline build, but coworkers have the knack for talking about when things are going out of stock for awhile. We have been selling a fair amount of 38's for ebikes and supply is spotty. So now I have a 38 on the way for the moped, and I really wasnt planning on one anytime soon.

Fall is starting at the upper elevations.
Some rain, cold air, leaves changing, the smell of damp dirt and fallen leaves littering the trail…. Best time of year to be in the mountains.
