Gonna have to get this taken care of asap. Almost out in the reservoir so going to have to hit up a dealership on the way home from camping. Maybe see if the store here has some distilled water

 

Thermostat housing area, or waterpump area soaked?

 

Can't see any signs of where it's coming from other than it's gotta be the back of the block, nothing wet up front

Under/rear of the blower?

Sucks you've got a leak, maybe we can try to spot the issue this coming Sunday.

 

Heater hoses on the firewall?

Hopefully it's not a HG or cracked head

Did you check the lines going in and out of the heater core?

I know a guy who can tear it down in 3 days!

 

Coolant bypass pipe under the intake manifold. It’ll look like it’s leaking from the bellhousing.

 

That's not going to be a fun fix.

 

No. It’s a pain. Dealer wise it’s a bit $$$


But DO not just reseal it. Replace the pipe. It’s usually the weld on the bracket that let’s go

 

Nice signature. Mercedes was the only car that made the cut lol.

 

Dealer quoted me $4,000 to fix the knock sensor harness on the second gen. That pipe seams like more work then that. Hope for Ryan it's just a rubber hose.

 

It’s the only interesting one… the 98 needs to get on there too.
