Well, our time with the boat was cut short; Will explain later...

 

We had a little accident with the propellor and some docking rope; No damage to motor but we had to have it towed back as you can see and the prop had to come off to get the rest of the rope out...

The boat obviously had to go back to the shop, but at least we're still gonna fish off the dock tomorrow!

 

I installed a heater in my workshop last year, it helps on most days. Still sucks in the middle of winter since it is not insulated yet.

 

Back in like 1995, this house still had a coal stove; It worked great but it was very messy...

My grandma was gonna go with a pellet stove but she ended up getting this antique-style stove with gas logs; Works great!

 

That should crank out some heat!

My old pedal boat, still sitting on the dock at the house my grandma sold a decade ago; My grandma bought the house next door to the A-frame in 2000 to accommodate a growing family, so everybody wouldn't be crammed into the A-frame during vacation. She ended up selling it 2010 when the last of the grandkids started going to college and adults started getting older and less willing to make the roughly 7 to 12 hour drive up to Maine...

 

My grandma bought this pedal boat in the summer of 2001 as a present for me and my cousins, after my grandma's cousin loaned us hers in the summer of 2000; She bought it brand new for $395 and I believe a friend brought it home in the bed of his 1999 Ford Ranger...

 

It was easier to launch the boat at a neighbor's house across the cove, rather than carry it down the stairs to our dock; My cousin and I were only 12 years old, and we were allowed to take the pedal boat across the cove all by ourselves!

 

My grandma's house was built in 1980, when oil was expensive, so it has electric baseboard heat...

 

It gets the job done, but it's expensive to run; Every room has at least one baseboard heater and it's own thermostat...

 

Yes, even the bathrooms...

 

When my buddy was remodeling his house l grabbed a few of those baseboard units for the garage, just haven't had time to wire them up yet.

 

Found a Seadoo on my grandma's street that hasn't seen the water since about 2001...
