Yeah I’d just ream them out and let them know your frustrations. If they don’t cut the frustration off your invoice, I’d be helping myself to leaving the last 5% off the check.

I feel your pain about delays.
We needed the skylights replaced and we were getting the roof replaced as well. The roof......done in 1 day. The skylights and ceiling.......not so much. Because everyone works in our house, interior work could only occur on Fridays, when my son had off, or other days when I was not working.
This nonsense went on for four months until I stated we could no longer have any week days available, it would have to be weekends. Soooo... for the next two months, he had a series of knuckle heads try to finish the sheet rock. I sent his painter away three times because the joints were crap. It actually took about eight hours total to finish the ceiling, strung out for 7 months.:mad::mad:

It comes down to the old saying, "If you want something done right, do it yourself". People suck and will continue to suck, our only hope is they might suck less

Ugh. Sorry to hear that. Building our house was one of the most frustrating efforts of my life.

Good morning PA. We got a new mattress last week and I have been sleeping much better. What a simple solution to feeling better.

A few years ago we randomly ended up looking at mattresses, the salesman was in his mid 70's and really funny but also really good. I ended up handing over my Visa card. That night at home we suddenly realized just how bad our old one was.

Only a few days wait for delivery seemed like months... I'm cheap -- but you can't put a price on a decent nights sleep, never once regretted spending the money. :)

Was there a valid excuse like a really bad fumble when getting materials.

I have a neighbor builds houses and he says getting materials is down right crazy promised deliveries fail to show .

I have a few lumber-related items that are in short supply but only for the next week or two. 1/2 OSB and 2x4x104 5/8 are slim rn

Hey y’all quick question, dropped the 19 Taco and got a 21, crawled under to install the brake controller wiring harness on the 21 and went to check online to see if it would fit… this brand doesn’t say online(of course) but the plug itself snaps into the plug from the factory, just hook everything up and see if it works or? Need it for tomorrow AM. I would assume it fits all 3rd gen, seeing it fit my 19 and it says 16-18. Thanks.

it’s all plug and play. I’m other words, no, I’ll wait and push it off an hour or 2 and call the MFG to see. The Curt one marked for 16-17 Tacoma’s would work(same part number) but it all fits curt brake controllers. Which I don’t have.
