17's are typically inspect only, they usually have the inner treatment that the 18+ have. But possible for rust still.

Right? It just sits there and taunts me with all that wasted space.

Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
I’ve owned a 2001, 2015 Prerunner, 2017 PreRunner, and now I’m back to a 2015 TRD Sport. I’ve loved both of my 2015s way more than any other vehicle I’ve ever had.

    2015 has my vote.

Still better than a 3rd gen, and not as good a 1st gen.

Are we talking LCD clocks here? Or just dash layouts?

I ask because my old 3G 4Runner had an LCD clock that eventually turned into a “cold weather clock”. It still kept time but would only light up when the weather was very cold, like below 20 deg. I always knew it had been a cold night in Oregon whenever the clock would come on in the morning lol

I’m curious to know if the 1G Tacoma’s had the same problem, or if I can expect the same fun out of my 2014 Tacoma clock someday down the road

I was talking Tacomas in general. I don't think 3rd gens have a stand alone clock. My 2012 clock is still working fine almost ten years later.

Everyone who said 2015 is obviously correct, and everyone else who said anything else has a mental defect. No offense, of course.
