Interesting. I ran mine for 5 years with no issues til I blew the rear ring snd pinion. Went with Zuk this time around and been flawless so far. Plus he was able to have both ring and pinions and all the gears and shaft in the ADD tube REM polished and cryo treated.

That’s welded to the housing not the 3rd member. Should be able to just clean things up and re weld it. 3rd member is probably just fine. Mine is welded to the housing as well

 

Does anyone have a reputable place to get a Bosch 044 fuel pump? I’ve received two fakes and they keep failing.

 

AFE specs:

Coupling, Hump: 4-1/8"ID x 3"L
Coupling, Reducer: (3-1/8" x 2-15/16")IDx3”L

 

Got told the force to turn the pinion should only be around 10ftlbs or so but measured out to 40+. Had silicon all in the gears. The arb seal was fucked but it still worked and didn’t leak so don’t totally blame that on ecgs since arb seals suck. Think he told me a couple other issues but it’s been 7 years since then.

 

Does afe sale them? I thought they did at one time.

Got any other pics of where/ how it is welded to the housing? Sounds like poor weld quality or not enough weld area. But also if the shackle at the front isn’t able to pivot properly then it will start putting excess force elsewhere and could cause issues

What was wrong with it?

 

Did you order the right one? They have 2 part numbers. Does the box have areas to screw in the relocate? They could have sent you the 2005-2011 version

 

Just trying to help but this bracket is the OEM bracket that your pump is currently mounted to.
