    Might be onto something. The 09-12 years, had a problem with being under filled from the factory. Mr. Toyoda was not a happy camper.

    Pretty sure it went all the way to 12's. Maybe further.

    No signs of rear-wheel bearing issues. But, I'm not a pro mechanic, and I don't know how to test. I did have a good friend that is a pro take a ride. I asked him about the rear, he replied that they were in a lube bath and don't often fail under this truck's driving conditions. Are there signs I should be looking for?

    Tranny filter and fluid were replaced and brought up to full levels. It read full when I got the truck best I can remember.

    OP, you could try jacking up the rear in order to observe whether the drive shaft seems to be wobbling when in drive. I had similar on my other truck as yours and it remained despite two attempts at rebalancing the shaft. Found an old timer that that actually knew how to straighten the shaft and then balanced. Be super careful!
