The Tundra redesign is WAY overdue. 15 years to be exact! I am curious about pricing, TT V6 engine, hybrid system, fuel mileage, technology, etc.

I dig it. Want to see the mpg's of the engines, and wish I could "build one" to see what the price will work out as.

Agreed. The new Tundra is a hideous looking truck. The interiors are sweet but holy hell what happend to the design crew for the exterior? They should all be fired based on the front end alone. Guess I'll keep my 2010 until the next redesign. If Dodge wasn't such garbage I'd get the new Ram TRX. Now that's a sweet looking pick upTRX-Kendall-Dodge-1024x597.jpg

That is a Nice Looking Truck. Why is it that Dodge and Ford have the Best Colors? But Like you said, I will keep my 2005 Tacoma and 2013 F-150.

The real one even looks better, but the interior is overhyped (it's decent), but not the best thing since sliced bread like a lot of RAM cheerleaders like to portray. TRD Pro will be much more affordable.

The sentiments of many everywhere, who expected more and close to 500 hp. Just like the 2018 Lexus LS 500, people expected way more after a century.

I wouldn’t mind if they did that with the next Lexus LX. So long as they keep the CVT with paddle shifters away. Wouldn’t imagine the new Tundra would have much space to have a large enough battery.

I have a RAV4 Prime and Toyotas marketing team did a good job of hyping up this boring fuel saver. This thing is only slightly more exciting than a Prius.

    Trim levels per MotorTrend site

    https://www.motortrend.com/features/2022-toyota-tundra-trim-levels/?slide=1

If it's 4wd it gets a locking diff. Limited on up have the Max engine optional and only engine on the Pro.

Pass. I'd much rather have a Raptor than a TRX. The TRX is just hyped on the supercharger and the overhyped interior that really isn't super great. Plus, personally, I think the Raptor is the best looking truck out there with the Tacoma in a close second.

Yep. I didn't remember the article correctly. Just found it and says TRD Pro is hybrid only but a TRD O/R package will follow with an ICE version

Yeh lots of trims and variations. Limited on down to the 1794 have the Max option and standard on the Pro. Limited on up to the SR have the off road package option but Max option only on the limited. I see Limited with off road and Max engine a good seller.

SR should be available with the I Force Max. Toyota would sell more trucks. Ford will definitely sell more Lightning XLs, or what ever the work truck Lightning will bs called.

What kind of gas will this take?
The LS 500 that uses the 3.4L twin turbo requires 91 octane, but pushes out quite a bit more power then the tundra will. Is that from extra compression or what?

For reference, ford says regular 87 octane is the recommended fuel for the 3.5L ecoboost twin turbo.

Stopped to look at a 2021 Tundra and it is 5k over invoice. 2022 prices are going to be crazy
