Is that custom? I have a Leer 180 which looks similar but I’m trying to figure out your tailgate/door hatch. Is that all one piece and you replaced the tailgate?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
That’s an ARE MX with the walk in door. The original/new tailgate has been sitting in my basement for the last 12 years

I know the OP said he got a hotel. I slept in the front seat of my 98 Cobra once on the way from San Diego to Sacramento at some random rest stop off the 5. Pulled in at like 2am and slept till like 5-6am. Total junk sleep tho... would not recommend. And that car had comfy ass leather seats.

I maybe got 5 hrs, but it’s doable. I arrived late to a camping spot and it was raining. I got into my sleeping bag. I’m about 6 ft. and it was enough for me. I tried laying in the backseat - that was a non-starter.

so replying to an old thread
sleeping in the passenger seat.. Yes and it can be done (by me anyway) and get a good nights sleep.
I did this because I was feeling sick and did not want to set up a tent and needed heat as I was shivering.

I opened my sleeping bag Its rectangle and layed it on the passanger seat. reclined the seat and got in. Closed the door and kicked my boots off reclined all the way. thats it.

let me just say a couple of things
    1. you need to be good and tired or in my case sick needing sleep
    2. leave the windows cracked a bit
    3. make sure you will not have to go bathroom that just sucks
    4. if you cant sleep in a mummy bag don't even try this movement is very limited
    5. stay up as long as you can because after 5 or 6 hours your done in that position.

You will not sleep comfortably in that in Texas or Arkansas in the summer with 90% humidity and 90 degrees F.
