Mike are you guys doing a drop & drain on the tranny? Any other service work?

 

Full fluid replacement tomorrow. Need it cold to do it my way..

He’s getting new tires so no rotate.
The only thing I worry about is the rust on the level check plug.
I’ve seen some real clusters so I go through
And check all plugs viability before I start.
#1 Fill Plug
#2 Level Plug
#3 Drain Plug

Unless he comes up with something else..

I soaked all of the plugs & bolts in PB blaster the week before servicing. All removed fine.

Funny you mention that. I'm picking up a new 14mm drain plug bolt from the dealer today. My level check bolt is in good condition for now. But I don't want to wait for it to crust up before I do something about it. Plus a socket/wrench is easier than a 5mm allen

Figure it worth the $2.86 I'll spend on it.
