Wanted: TRD 16" beadlock wheel, Gunmetal Grey, Very used is fine.

Yeah, I saw you post some stuff before but it sounded like you said this was actively for sale yet I hadn't seen a post about it. You're not the same guy that's selling a single grey one w/ BFG for $450 are you? I'm looking for a spare but not willing to pay extra for one with a tire since I've already got a tire to go on it.

 

Quick update:

I just called Toyota to check on my order. If you remember my local dealer told me there were two in stock at another dealer on the east coast or in the south and that he'd get those shipped over here for me. Well, the guy I talked to today gave me a different story. First of all, he said now there's only one in existence, not two. And second, he said that those ones that are/were in existence would fill pending backorders first and not my order. Exactly the opposite of what the first guy told me.

I didn't cancel the order, partly because I didn't have to pay anything yet. But, at this point I think it's pretty much an impossibility that I'll get the two wheels I ordered. If I'm gonna wait in a backorder line then I may as well have an order for a full set but I didn't do that because my intention was to get the wheels that existed NOW. I'm not confident that these are going to continue to be produced. There are rumors its just a supply chain thing and that they will be produced again but in my experience dealer parts often go through this limbo phase right before they're formally labeled as discontinued.

If you have a set to sell right now you have a decision to make. Sell now for as much as you can get because these may be available again soon from the dealer which will cause second hand sale prices to plummet again. Or, hold on to them assuming they will be discontinued and that the price will continue to go up so you can sell for more later.

 

I hope they discontinue these wheels besides there a lot wheels Toyota makes for these trucks I will hold on for them because I believe that’s what’s going to happen then hopefully I can sell them for 10k muahahhaha or more if there’s a 2012-2015 Tacoma enthusiast out there

 

Toyota keeps marketing the trd lift kit utilizing these wheels .. if you watch the before and after video of the lift kit you will notice that the video was uploaded after the wheels were “discontinued”. They are coming back im certain of it.

 

Also these clear 285s with minimal offset and no spacers … with a proper alignment and under 3000 bucks of modifications to the truck you could properly wheel the 33 inch tire. It makes sense for toyota to make this wheel because its an intermediate step to really going all out and modding the heck out of your truck

 

I sure hope you’re right! If they don’t come back I’ll keep running my 2019 pro wheels which are my second favorite OEM wheel haha

Ordered them 2 weeks ago after scouring the country. Perhaps the actual last set at a dealership? I think they were surprised to have them in their system. Took awhile to get here. Thank you Puyallup Toyota ( no upsale!). Williamsport PA Ciocca Toyota located them in a National search, he could see where physical stock was located.

 

Wow you just won the lottery. Congrats! Based on the other stories you should feel so lucky

Probably were.. What’s weird is that other dealers couldn’t source them. Many people before him tried. Fingers crossed they restock these under a new part number eventually.

 

I think because he only requested 2 and others wanted a set
