A friend of mine had one of those.
He almost got de-nutted by the shifter when he took a header.

 

I had one too....though it was used when I got it. Back in the day you could buy used bikes from Western Auto. "Santa Claus" bought it, cleaned it up and painted it purple. I didn't care what color it was....I loved it!
