That's about what it seems to be going for right now. Which makes me happy that I bought when prices were low ($8.95/50) a few years back.

If you've had an approved stamp in the last 24 months with all your trust documents, etc attached, you can file an exemption letter on subsequent forms that basically says "you already approved my stuff once, you don't need to review it all again" for the next 2 years if the info stays the same. Concensus seems to be that it speeds your approval time up a fair bit.

Big shout out to National Gun Trust's website that has form generators that make it all stupid easy to complete the paperwork.

You can always tell a noob when you hear them declare "That's a pretty good price on those.." as they're eye-humping the $25 box of 9mm...:smack:

A friend of mine bought a couple of boxes of 9mm at about $.035/round. He said he thought it was a decent price. I showed him several 50 round boxes of 115gr that I bought a few years ago at $8.95 each. Which I thought was an okay price, but nothing great. Then again before Obama Panic 1, I was buying range fodder from Dicks at $6.95/50.

Buy as much as you can when it's cheap and plentiful because there will come a time when it's scarce and expensive. Right now we're at available, but still expensive.

I expect prices to soften next spring, but it's impossible to predict that accurately so I won't be surprised if they don't.

When you see them at $50 a box 50, then it drops to $25 a box it is a good price at the moment

Well, in his defense, .35c/rd IS a good price these days. Certainly not 2016-2019 pricing, but tolerable.

Word on the street is that ammo mfgs are upping prices again in Q4 so don't expect it to drop much.

Id definitely be buying 100rds for $35 if I could find it locally. All my stores are at least $25 for 50, nope.

I won't be surprised. Copper, Lead, and Brass prices are up, and I expect power and primer prices are as well.

The manufacturers are working at capacity to try to meet demand, so it's not going to end soon.

That's a good deal. I've found a few online at that price, but they always sell out fast.

    Locally it's $49 a box.

You'de think 357 would be more common, but what we're seeing is all the Nato rounds.
