    going to be fun!
Not in the garage it self but the roof has one in that space.

My thought was to insulate the front wall with R-30 and drywall then on each side run the OSB all the way up like in the 2nd pic then insulate the bays with R-30 and rafter duro-vent channels in the ceiling.

I'm no insulation expert. I'd be inclined to run those proper vents up that short roof section (front & back) where you'll insulate. And insulate between the collar ties. Then drywall/finish anywhere there's insulation.

Anywhere you insulate needs an unobstructed airspace for air to travel from the soffit intake to a vent through the roof . If the roof sheeting is applied to the top of truss chord so there is no cross ventilation between truss / rafter bays , duravents should be installed continuous in each bay from intake to above insulation where exhaust will take place

You mention duravents to connect inlets up the short walls. Could baffles be used behind deliberate wall insulation like this? Or is that a bastardization of where baffles are properly used because it reduces bay depth?

Disclaimer: I have a similar attic and know just enough to know I need a lot more info.

Yesterday I found a bit of missing grout in my shower. It’s one small spot at about waist height. How should I fix it?

the duravents go in the rafter / truss bays not in the walls , re-reading my earlier post that might not have been clear

Grout it. I'd also get a grout removal tool and see how far front/back that improperly filled section goes. Once you find out where the void stops just mix up a tiny bit of grout and stuff it back in that section.

Knocked out some more of the guest bath today. Couldn't find my fish & the Romex kept snagging the cotton candy. Turns out PEX is the absolute perfect conduit!

    20210919_151851.jpg

Got the line dropped down, cut out & installed the new recessed plug for the vanity. Much quicker the 2nd time around since it's just a mirror image of the master bath. Haven't run the other end to the Jbox for power yet.

    20210919_155346.jpg

Wired in the boxes for the recessed LEDs & then threw up some new greenboard where the soffit used to be. I hate hanging drywall & I think I suck at it...but that's what tape/mud is for. Lights work as expected, will install the Wemo smart dimmer after the tile guys get done making a mess.

    20210919_155328.jpg

Put up some new R13 "noise reducing" cotton candy around the tub (long wall shared with another condo, but no shared studs helps a lot). Also trimmed the drywall back to 2" from the tub per the tile guy's request. Got that line as clean as I could for the schluter trim.

    20210918_160020.jpg

Tomorrow I'll frame out the bathtub niche on the short wall across from the water. Tile guy comes Thursday.

Been thinking of how to convert the half bath in my master bedroom to a 3/4 bath today. Gonna be tight, but its doable if I sacrifice a hall closet on the other side of the wall.

Sharing one shower with other people (if and when I decide to stop being a bachelor) is gonna get old quick.

The bidet might be a little ineffective if you do this, but hey! Efficiency!

I thought that's how you're supposed to use the toilet anyways? The tank lid has a nice shelf for your book or phone to read while you poo.
