    Ohh gotcha!
Nice to see Tacoma's in popular use there. I don't normally see a lot of Tacomas when visiting the mainland, although it's hard to compare the density of Tacoma's to Hawaii.

All depends on the tow rating of YOUR truck.

You can pull anything within that limit.

Be aware, some trucks have a tow package, some don't.........

Boats are relatively easy to pull compared to travel trailers. Tongue weight and wind resistance are the real limitations and MOST boats are not that bad.

Getting them out of the water can be a challenge, but if you have 4X4 and use low range you can pull way over the tow rating for a short distance to get out of the water. It is on the road and at highway speeds where you may have issues if close to the max tow ratings. While most Tacoma's are rated for around 6500 lbs, closer to 4500-5000 is still a more realistic limit.

The owner of the 2011 told me he put it in 4LO to get the trailer out of the water...

I was going to recommend that. And if you can't shift out of low range before having to turn a ton in tight circles, you may want to try and find a 2-LO module. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2lo-modules.708941/

I have been "stalking" Tacomas of all generations for more than five years now, and one thing I have certainly noticed is that 6-lugs vastly outnumber 5-lugs by ridiculous amounts, even more mild areas where I've vacationed like Northern California. I actually do see a decent amount of 5-lug RCs around, but very few 5-lug ACs; To be quite honest, while I photograph any decent or simply unique Taco I see, the 5-lug ACs just don't do it for me...

Another thing I've noticed is that the vast majority of privately owned (i.e. not fleet vehicles for Napa Auto Parts or various pest control companies) 5-lug RCs I've seen are bone stock and either beaten to shit or immaculately maintained.

I also have to say that on the occasion when I've actually met a 5-lug AC owner, they're almost always elderly couples and their truck is almost always an SR5; I DO NOT see many base model 5-lug ACs around... :(

I see plenty of 5-lug RCs with aftermarket wheels and killer stereos, but most of the truly "customized" ones I've seen have been online (almost exclusively here on TW)!

I saw three AC 5-lugs, including an X-Runner, at Raceway Park today...

Two of three 5-lug ACs I saw at Raceway Park today; 2006 AC 2WD (Don't know if it's an SR5 or a base)...

It kinda has a "Zombie Outbreak Response Vehicle" vibe! Please pay attention to the pictures of the rear end of the truck; Thanks!

I initially thought it was a 2011 because of the basic grille design (even though it's an aftermarket grille), but the presence of an aftermarket backup camera should told me that it was older (unless of course it was a base model), and the license plate comes back to a 2006 Access Cab on Carfax; I was expecting this truck to have somewhere north of 200K miles based on the age and the fact that the lower half of the body seems to have been PlastiDipped, but it only has marginally higher mileage than my truck (At least it did, with just over 139K as of February 2020; It's probably in the 150K to 160K range now)...

Same truck; Note how the wheels on the driver's side are stock, but the ones on the passenger side seem to have been painted or PlastiDipped...
