Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

A 2bbl was optional on the 60s 232 engine with a cast iron manifold, hard to find.

By the late 70s AMC had switched to an aluminum manifold and a Carter 2bbl, same carb as Chrysler.

The best manifolds are around this vintage (1979 ish) with a coolant passage, later models used an electric heating element in the manifold, don't want one of those.

 

Oh and hope you didnt wear shorts.....luckily the one time i got them was only on my ankles and feet

 

Either Ohio doesn't have chiggers, or I've just been lucky.

I'll say it, I've painted dots on my sac with nail polish to kill chiggers. Always got them from being on river banks fishing or camping.

 

I read the first 2 pages, man those guys could hang around here.

The vacuum unit moves the linkage to disable the starter when the engine is running.
Sure makes a solenoid look a lot simpler.

I hate poison!! It’s the only draw back when joe and I and the kids chase fallen trees around!! Most of the trees have poison growing on them!!! No matter how careful you try to be…. 2 days later you end up scratching at a spot which then becomes more spots!! :-/ I just over a small case of poison on my ankles …. Have no idea how because I’m always wearing socks and at least shows or boots any joes

 

Is the VP pissed at you FOR leaving or pissed at someone else BECAUSE you're leaving?
