How has nobody mentioned the fact that they’re leaving 5 lugs and going to 6 lugs?

    this and that...
think the lug pattern went back to the more toyota-centric 6x139 or they gonna do some other "innovative" idea when they went 5x150 for the bigger trucks. i could see the taco running a set of light weight bbs'.

I would take literally every single truck in that video over the new tundra.

1st gen 4 runner, 45 series, 70 series, FJ Cruiser, LT 2nd gen, Marty McFly Pickup... Yup all way cooler than that. Also never saw that render in the video.

I'm not into the new Tundra at all but I am very curious to see how the engines/tech trickle down as the new 4Runner and Tacoma are released in the coming years.

So to make it look good, you have to throw $10 grand at it?

    Perfect.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here yet, but Sweers said there will be an available 3 inch lift for it.

Looks like a great truck with 1950 payload and 12000 lb tow capacity.

I wonder what fullsize truck buyers will think of the composite bed.

No, they're Tundra lights...they are required whenever a truck is wider than 80".

2.5 inch lift, 285/75r16s, upgraded stereo system, Magnuson mp90 supercharger system.
Yeah but it’s not just about the numbers. There is just something about a v8 that a 6 just can’t match. It’s that low beautiful rumble. The wife and I have been talking about a new vehicle and the big bad tundra was what I was thinking but now it definitely won’t be a 2022. If I go full size it’s going to have 8 cylinders absolutely no compromise.

Since it’s Toyota I really doubt the truck has any fancy suspension to warrant the use of those clearance lights. Otherwise they would have advertised it nonstop by now.
