What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

DIY'd some LEDs for the Diamondback a few weeks back. Finally installed them last weekend.

Some LED strips I placed in an aluminum channel with a plastic diffusing panel powered by 3 AA batteries. For now this does what I need. Down the road I may consider hard wiring if I feel the need.


Used 3M tape to adhere to the underside of the bed cover.


Some shots in the dark. It looks more blue on camera than in person. I used bright white LEDS.


MESO map lights arrived today and got them installed.

 

No, it comes with all the hardware needed. The locking hardware is an option and believe they are security torx bolts, but don't quote me on that.

 

Installed dual maps and ordered some switchbacks

 

Nice job with the Diamondback. Best tonneau cover out there.

 

I'll have a set of V5s for sale once I decide which color route I'm going.

same reason I went with white as well.

 

I usually get double meso items for repair and LED burnouts. I travel with a box of spare parts for a quick on the go fix. That and the resale is always there.

 

I was debating ordering both myself so I can pick and choose whenever I feel like it. But I forgot to enter the TW discount so I’m kinda glad I didn’t

 

I always forget the tw discount. I’ve only remembered it once.

 

A couple things coming in and being done within the next month:

• Deaver Stage 2 rear leafs
• CMC
• BFG K02 35x12.5R17 tires
• Meso customs V5 Ultimate Switchback Turn Signals

 

I think it saved me 16 beans.

I got my Dual Color Map "Ligh" in the mail today too! Will be replacing my MESO all whites due to retina burn.

 

Mine came in today as well. Just finished swapping them out from the all whites, due to temporary blindness lol.

 

Anyone know if the design for the TRd sport/off-road grille is gonna change for 2022? They’ve changed every 2 years so far

My New Maxxis AT 811’s arrived a couple days ago, and they’ll be mounted up to New OEM TRD 16” Pro wheels with factory Black Lug nuts.

Your truck's not a 2020? You switched to the 2020 grill. Looks good. I actually do like the cheese grater (not necessarily better) when it's blacked out. Never had to clean/dry one though.
