I am sorry if I am dragging out a :deadhorse:, but I have to ask. I tried to do the break-in as best I could according to the manual, but I did use the cruise control maybe 4-6 times during the 1000 miles after 500 miles(albeit on Kentucky interstates, so not much constant RPMs), and drove around 75-80 mph those times. I didn't do what I would consider any hard accelerations during those times. The reason I used the cruise control after 500 miles is because I had it in my mind that break-in was after that mileage for some reason after reading the manual. Do you guys think everything is still good? Again, sorry if this is a topic that is constantly drug through the mud. TIA

The motor is actually broken in before it leaves the factory. With that said treat it nice in the beginning and it will take good care of you

I guess it is time to work out a trade before catastrophic failure. LOL!

Just don't drive like an idiot and don't overthink it.

I have 200km on my new truck.... Half of those were on cruise on the way back from the dealer. My concern is zero.

All i can say i never used cruise control during the break-in period, and have only used it very sparingly so far. I resisted using the S and ECT modes, only for trailing. Its the D mode 965% of the time, with not being the easiest with the go petal. So far at over 11k its been a great truck. Imo, it always seems the driver that spares the throttle seems to have all the issues.
