I’ve looked all over the threads for the better part of two weeks looking for an answer to this noise. Any time i go over any deviation in the road the rear ended of my truck makes a ringing noise like someone tied a bell to the back of it. I can’t pin point it’s exact location so i’ve been going over everything and tightening things down and nothing seems to work. if anyone else has had this issue and figured it out your input would be appreciated

I originally thought it might be the leafs, but it’s not really squeaky it’s Identical to a bell like somethings loose. I don’t think it would be the chain ether since i’ve had the truck it has yet to make the noise until very recently and the chains been there the whole time

    Dont think. Check.

It's free to do, and stuff does sometimes move.

    Fox racing shocks,
Fair point, I’ll try and zip tie it or something so it doesn’t move and test it tomorrow

Zip tied it with a towel around it and the noise is still there, I may just take the spare out completely and see if it’s loos because it lost a little bit of air

Maybe your truck is prepping for Christmas?

Idk why but your description reminds me of the drive line.

The only thing I can think to do is put the truck on jack stands and crawl under it with a dead blow hammer and start tapping around to see if you could find the rattle

    Fox racing shocks,
Did this and it’s seems like it’s coming from the brackets that hold the leaf springs, it wasn’t an identical noise, seemed like a quieter version.

Sounds like you got a bunch of wrenches rattling around in your bedside compartment.

As an aside, this thread ahead given me a great idea for a prank. Buy some cheap bells and zip-tie them up under my friends trucks when they aren’t looking,
