this was one of my first upgrades! I hate the orange back lighting, makes the car look so old lol

I just found the bulb size online and bought the best quality LEDs I could find. Definitely do not want to open this back up again! :D

Went for a little drive. It was pretty . Saw some stuff, broke some things. Drove 400 miles home with no power steering was sketchy . My favorite quote of the trip was my truck Drove like the can-am's up the obstacles.

Looks like it's the top seal on the rack is leaking. So I pulled the belt and man handed her home.
    It was pretty epic .

Losing power steering on a trail sucks. Don't mind it so much on the street though.

Yeah it let loose on hells revenge. No power steering in 4low is a little difficult. As long as I was rolling it wasn't to bad just a little twitchy.

Well I didn't have any extra fluid and the pump was empty and starting to make noise,so I pulled the belt. I wouldn't have been able to hear the pump going out while driving down the freeway so I felt that pulling the belt was the safer option. I sure that your right I could have just kept topping it off and would have been fine but it was leaking out pretty quick and I had a bunch of highway miles to cover.

Truck needs new freeze plugs :spending:

Labor intensive job on the 3.4l apparently. Started puking coolant over the weekend from the back of the block. Odd thing to have happen with low mileage (98k), warm climate, right coolant, etc. But looks like I'll be getting that done tomorrow and likely a new clutch & rear main since the trans will be dropped.

Yeah but they're on the back of the block, can't get to them without either lifting the engine up or dropping the transmission as I understand.

Some engines they're easily accessible just not the 3.4
