I just installed a bike rack behind the tail gate. Now when I reverse the warning sound keeps going off (as if I’m close to hitting something). Can the noise warning be turned off??

or for those who mountainbike - any suggestions on a good tailgate pad? I tried a Amzn off brand and the fit was terrible.

    thanks!

Hey, happens to me too when driving with the tailgate down. Just hit the P button , the one directly to the left of the back window slider. That turns it off!

Surprised the dealer didn't explain the buttons when delivering the truck. They had like a 15 min talk about all the tech stuff when I got my 19.

Reading the manual is beta behaviour.

My Salesman didn't do this, however it was near closing time and I had them deliver the truck to my house so I think he just wanted to go home.

The basics were easy to figure-out that night, skimming the manual the next day explained a lot of things. Getting stuck on the freeway for 30 minutes a couple of weeks later gave me the opportunity to play with everything and get it all set-up the way I wanted.

The absolute last thing I wanted to do when picking up my truck was to listen to some asshole halfway explain the fucking buttons to me. Trial and error baby just figure it out

I have a Thule Tailgate Pad (7 slot) for quick day trips and a rack for longer trips or when I am carrying more than 3 bikes. I love it and it works great. Has a nice opening for the camera to peek through
