WW_FIREFIGHTER's BUILD

Hey thanks Ray!! Well I've always wanted them from the first time I saw them a while back on TW....(forgot which truck). But they were just pricey to get made you know? But after I saw yours up close in person in Vegas...I said the hell with it and finally bit the bullet!!! If I do it again, I'm going to try and do my own set by myself.....it doesnt look terribly hard.

If you have it on the side. You can clearly take your time and work on it at a slow pace. Shouldn't be hard.

Its expensive but well worth the upgrade. If you factor in the price. It is still much cheaper then what OEM Retro Headlights cost off a vehicle.

Yeah I've also heard that the measurements are the most important part. I dont plan on doing it anytime soon but I know I will for sure one of these days. Probably when the weather gets warmer so I can sit out and work in my garage.

The grill is called a Satoshi grill. They are custom made. You can find write-ups on here and make them yourself or there are a few guys on here that can make one for you at a cost of course. Just try the search button up top.

Love the truck, nice and clean look. love the grille, can you post closer pics? Also I love the "TOYOTA" badge. Looks like you have 2 different ones. One looks like the old toyota emblem and the other one looks a little newer. Where did you get the newer looking one?

 

Yeah the smaller one I had on before was from an older FJ. The new bigger one you can get from the dealership for about $50.

 

Is this the newer one you got from the dealer? Personally I think I like the smaller one a bit more, but they both look good. What FJ did you get it from?

 

Yes, thats the newer one. I actually found the smaller on ebay that someone had up for auction. I think you can get them on certain websites to so do a search on google or something.
