Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I've got Blink. I have 4 total, 2 separate systems. 1 back area and 1 front area per camera.

Also have one indoor on its own system as well, all tied into 1 app.

Another vote for Ring Doorbell and Ring Floodlight camera's both hardwired. I've found them to be more reliable than the Arlo systems. I like the color night vision, motion zones and motion sensitivity adjustments and the alerts to your phone or other smart device. The yearly fee is worth the price to access/save old recordings.

After a neighbors car was stolen a few years ago and few other broken into, every neighbor on my street has installed a Ring, Arlo, or another security setup of some kind. :spy:o_O:quickdraw::infantry:

We do get the occasional Javalina, Coyotes, and Bobcats running down the sidewalk, which is neat to see. :tumbleweed:

Reminds me of the toilets in some RV's. Much to my wife's chagrin I call them a Shit, Shower, Shave cause you can do all three without ever standing up.

Weeks of morning/evening hospital visits (GF in the maternity ward), working from home during bank hours & then a few hours of labor is all taking its toll. I'm tired. Had today off but just couldn't get much inspiration. I did frame out a niche for the tub shower which I had forgot to do. Thank God I remembered since the tile guy comes on Thursday.

    IMG_20210920_111323_01.jpg

Then I replaced the 3 multi-turn water valves with new quarter turns. No pics of them, it wouldn't get enough likes on the Gram to justify  but I was pleasantly surprised that not 1 of them leaked.

Then I installed the new medicine cabinet. Had to trim the drywall on the vertical edge back and then cut/install a new 1" wide strip (not exaggerating) to close the gap left by the old wider cabinet. I'm not thrilled with the drywall work but it's the back edge & won't be very visible after it's mudded. Same shit as the master bathroom I did about 2 months ago, so it's a lot quicker this time.

    20210920_152418.jpg

Anyone in SoCal know a painter? The only person so far that's answered my call AND showed up quoted me $19,800 (not a typo) to tape/mud/skim the ceiling & paint the ceiling/walls/baseboards in a 1,235 sq ft condo. 20k I shit you not....and that didn't include the paint!

We have a ring too. Live View. Active monitoring is pretty cheap for my whole system too. We have the whole ring security system. Only issue I had is my keypad doesn't work, so if we arm/disarm it, it's with our phones.

I might be confused on the question. After ripping up carpet the subfloor is wooden sheets that appear to be level through out.

Might want to run a 4' level across the floor to see if it is actually level and then rub it across the seams to see if there are any lips in the floor.

Google/ Nest all for me. Never had an issue. I pay the annual, it works out well. No complaints. My Nest doorbell is wired and nest supplies these wire adaptors for the chime mounted in you house.
I didnt have an actual doorbell in my old condo. so i had to buy a plugin power source and chime kit since Nest only ran on wires at the time. Now they have a battery powered one.
Ring is very good also from what i hear and have a lot more options. It is really preference.

LAN/Cable access box to the left had 120V but for size/thermal/RF reasons made zero sense to stuff router and modem inside as PO did, and left lid off. Still need to paint the secure/lockable closet.....and never mind the two extra holes, my stud sensor is nuts.

My house has a storage room that's about 8'x20' that I've decided to turn into a useable work space.

Conduit installed perfectly plumb and level. Is there any other way?

    No. Shelf causes no issues.
Too hot and cramped and metal box

    MODEMs run HOT
    Router won't fit
Sealed metal box and RF, no good. Faraday cage.
Plus the way the power pack cords emerge the cover really doesn't fit, but a power strip plug fits fine. Bam. Easy.
