Just like those pesky bypass clicks jk lol.

For what it’s worth the wife still wants me to put bypasses on the rear of her 4Runner when we build it next year and she’s been riding around in the taco with them for years. And hers is a daily

Good to know. I was just trying to lessen the blow when I finally buy once cry once. The price tag just went up...

I don’t hear the free bleeds bypasses at all. I can actually hear the bushing on the eyelet make more noise when it rubs the shock tab.

I was going to say the opposite actually. Free bleeds at the most. You can make a C/O and smoothie combo do well with a good tune and save the cost of a secondary shock. Not worth the expense for what you’re doing with the truck.

Not everyone will agree but to each their own. I've found the single C/O and a relocation with smooth body shock to do well even in Southern Cali. There are absolutely limitations but I have to remember what the intentions of the truck are.

Bypasses won't hurt your performance, just your wallet

Like the old saying goes, speed isn't cheap; how fast do you want to go?

Probably nothing more than 80 mph at a given time, but offroad in dunes probably way less lol

Eh 35 can be fast in big whoops for a leaf sprung truck so it’s all relative. Your rear end will be the limiting factor for desert off roading so if you’re thinking about front bypasses make sure the rear end is sorted out first.

Oh, my question was directed towards the rear lol I just went 62 swapped from JD and someone offered to sell me bypasses, hence the question.

How do you like the free bleeds? That's what I went with front and rear for mine as well.

I haven’t really used the truck off-road. Only drove it on the freeway a handful of times.

We’re going to redo the bump can positions, still waiting to get inner fenders, Howe pump should be on soon, and I need a front bumper.

I haven’t gotten to play in the dirt yet to get a baseline feel for the front end yet. I’m really hoping to try it out this season.

I’ve romped on mine a bit as much as i can w/o the new inner fenders installed and it feels great. Not sure what special sauce valving config i’ve got now been meaning to ask @81Trekker and Jessie to write it down for me so I have a baseline

Dirt this weekend. Will be doing vids of the JD Fab bits and pieces doing their thing. Hopefully I don't stuff it. Keeping it out of the 4' whoops and terracrew worthy shenanigans. Maiden run, no idea how it'll do in the wide open. Only had it on dirt for short stints. I have high hopes because it absolutely kicked ass in some 12" holes and ruts.
