My steering wheel has been really loose and vibrating between 50-70mph and I’m hearing a clunk on my drivers side going over a speedbump with a turned wheel or taking a turn fast while loading up the drivers side.

my tie rods are brand new, my cv axles are brand new, my ucas are brand new, I have no sway bar, so the only two things I’m thinking it could be are the spindle joint or the LCA bushings.

the steering wheel shake has remained after tire balances, rotations, suspension swaps, and even centering lug replacement. It feels super loose and unpredictable at high speeds (70+) but only shakes noticeably between 50 and 70. It shakes way worse when braking at high speeds.

I’m thinking it’s the spindle joint cause the boot is cracked on this side and this is where I’m hearing the clunk. I took it to a shop and they said they didn’t have any play so they said it has to be a tire wear thing but that won’t make a clunk noise would it?

    All stock, baby!
Take a look at the small U joint on the steering intermediate shaft. Maybe that is shot.

    Maybe a lower ball joint?
When you replaced the UCA did happen to inspect the lower ball joint?

Lower ball joint in terms of the spindle to LCA joint or UCA to spindle?
