Did you hear about the bad Crash last night involving Doug Cook owner and CEO of Motion Raceworks at Texas Motorplex . His engine blew at the finish line causing his Nova to hit the wall very hard and destroyed his Nova

He just had the engine refreshed last week !!!

Evening everyone, it’s been raining a little, but it has coooooooled off nicely. 64*. Second Monday of the week over with, didn’t flip a desk all day, but the thought crossed my mind.

 

I sure would be most appreciative if you all with all the rain and cooler weather would package that up and send it on down to California, our fires sure could use some rain..... and I'm tire of the blazing summer weather, I need some COLD temps!

Looks like haven't checked in since Easter?! 12 days before leave for the cabin and 3 weeks on the North Shore of Superior with the dogs chasing birds. I R so ready...

Washed the Flannels last weekend and ordered another one from Bean last week it should be here tomorrow. Was time to replace my traditional black and red plaid shirt that finally gave up the ghost. This one isn't like the old Woolrich Buffalo plaid but has a bit more modern twist to it.

Few years back when I was first single and dating again met a lady from California that had just moved here. She told me in no uncertain terms that flannel was not a color. I explained to her that there is also Chamois and Corduroy shirts too. Went clean over her head and knew things wouldn't work out at that point. Wonder how long she lasted in these parts, doubt it was very long.
