Soooo what I got from asking around people who had done this to their truck was anywhere 2-400 lbs. I'm not talking skim coat. I was going to lay it on thick (1/4 inch or better) so smashing trees and rocks would have zero effect on it.

But yeah I hear ya, if it was a quick light coat to change the color it would handle that little bit of weight all day long

I put that shit on heavy. It was red when I bought it but the salt did a number on the rocker panels and fender flares. I only used it for work in the winter then it sat all year. Never washed it. I was going to get rid of it and decided to fix the body and use it as a beater. I got new rockers and made new flares by using foam insulation where the flare used to be. Then I shaped it and laid fiberglass mat in. I didn’t want to pay for a paint job so I got a gallon of bedliner and viola. I used that truck for the next 5 years until the frame was so rotted that I couldn’t get it inspected.

Awesome! sounds like something I would have done. I've used duct tape to build new fenders before, eh. haven't tried the spray foam but heard aboot a few people going that route.

That was only part of my share. My hunting buddy and I have an agreement to share all exotics. He got half and then I gave a front shoulder to my neighbor. All told I figure we got 120 pounds of meat out of him. My neighbor helps me a lot. Plus there us 5 in his family and I live alone. So he eats well !

I told my boss that three companies were after me so I needed a raise.

He said “Yeah right. Which three companies?”

“The electric company, the gas company and the water company”
