every seal and bushing, gasket, shock even the engine is 28 yrs old.

I wouldn't buy it unless I knew that it was started at least once a month for the past 28 years which it wasn't.

They may get what they are asking...

Looks a lot like the 94 xtra cab that I had. The whopping 114hp 4 banger it had... Mine had 168k before I traded it in.

Unless there are holes in the steel, it's not considered much of a rust problem here in Minnesota. That amount of rust can form in a single winter. YMMV

What do you do if you buy one of these low mileage trucks? Do you park it in a garage and stare at it or drive it? It cant be too enjoyable to drive and not too fun either if it only has a little over 100HP. Do you use it to drop your kids off at school to embarrass them? Take it on date night with the wife?

A buddy of mine has a old Bronco that he restored to mint condition. It’s parked on carpet in his garage most of the time and he keeps a big screen TV in front of it to watch through his windshield while he’s sitting in it.

To be honest, the low horsepower doesn’t matter on those old Toyota PU’s, and the friend of mine that bought a really nice ‘87 that’s in great shape gets compliments on it, even from teenagers. They know what they’re looking at.

Looks like the reserve was met. Less than 2 days to go and sitting at $35,600. Not worth it imo. Some YouTuber will buy it up and launch it off some cliff titled “40k Full Send”

It’s a nostalgia thing for me. My gramps always had old manual 4x4 Toyota trucks. Brings me back to those days. I’d drive it though. Even if you put 50k miles on it, it’s still going to hold its value. These things with 250k are still selling for 20k. The market for old Toyota trucks is insane.

I like the 80's trucks much more than the early 90's body style. To me these 90's ones aren't old enough to be anything special yet and the body and fender lines aren't as attractive.

What are the odds it reaches the price of a new third gen? I'm going for a 30% chance.
