Had the aftermarket seat warmers installed… my back already thanks me.

Nice thing about these switches is that they’ll come on when the ignition turns over. Which means remote start will start getting them seats warm!

Cons are only if you want to resell to someone who wants it 100% stock I guess. It’s just extra pipe, the sound hasn’t changed a bit for me. Just make sure to cut it so it’s not blowing on your spare or close enough to need a heat shield (or weld one on). I believe in some states the exhaust must go past the rear axle, so there’s that as well.

Wrapped up my pull out camping drawer and battery box. Carpeted the top so my dog has something to dig her nails into riding back there.

Thanks. Thats an older pic, I have since replaced the chrome bumper caps with black ones.
This tailgate graphic is one of the few things that I did buy two of. I figured in a few years it may start to wear and I’ll never find the same exact one, so if I ever need to remove and reapply the decal, I won’t have an issue sourcing it.

I believe they are the Rostra ComfortHeat heated seats. 3yr/36K mile warranty.

I am hopeful they last longer than that but if they last 3 years I’ll put in a full seat replacement at that point and go with leather up front.

I had seat covers in my F150 since day one and while I liked that the seats were basically factory new when I traded it in I hated the material/feel of the covers. Plus I didn’t have heated seats.

I will do it right when the replacement is due up and get the ball coolers and heated seats. Probably leather. That’s what the wife’s Lexus has and it’s a game changer.

Fabricated a metal rock guard for the fuel tank, made it from 3/16” 5052.
Used the CBI fuel tank skid for R&D purposes, (Rip off and Duplicate) started with a cardboard template, and it evolved from there.01BA5A1B-9F4A-4626-A907-1570B705DDE7.jpg E4DABE65-87EF-4EDD-B778-E8E89945A1D2.jpg E63D97AF-CDB5-417F-9421-D78886BD6798.jpg A02651D0-F94E-461B-BB44-BC7D68E015B0.jpg

I definitely prefer the og 3rd gen headlights over the led (just seems so squinty and crammed) and I can’t get over how the front bumper to headlight trim plate indent look against them- such an afterthought design. Just doesn’t flow together IMO

can’t wait to see the results you have here

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I actually like them both but you can't completely black out the chrome reflectors on the LED's. Hopefully have these installed around around Oct 1st.

New Project: TRD Pro Skid plate

Well - what do you do when you have a BLACK truck, and a WHITE skid plate... honestly - the first thing I did was peel off the plastic letters. NO easy task, but since I have nothing but time, I set about peeling them off.
Took about an hour - and then I peeled off the backing tape and replaced it with new tape so when it was painted, I could stick them back on.
    IMG_1356.jpg

So - went down to the local ACE hardware, picked up two cans of Black Rustoleum (satin finish) and then sprayed 3 layers on it. Each day I let it lay in the sun for 12 hours - baked it on good, light sand between coats.
I think it came out pretty good. Not like I am perfect when it comes to painting - but I did a pretty damned good job.
THEN... stuck the *RED* TRD letters back on. OK... now its looking decent.

Here's a better shot leaning up against my Craftsman tool cabinet.
    TRD_Skid_Plate_04.jpg

    The stock skid plate...
    TRD_Skid_Plate_03.jpg

    Four bolts... and its gone.
    TRD_Skid_Plate_02.jpg

AND.... then with the magic of the internet. POOF... the TRD Pro skid plate is on.
Project... completed. Now it matches the rest of the truck!

Swapped my 2017 TRD PRO headlights for 2020 TRD PRO LED headlights with @daveeasa plug and play wiring harness. Dave with the clutch trouble shooting save on short notice, (prior owner sneak attack… installed resistors for the turn signals that had to be undone). Pulling the flares, fender liner and bumper was not as easy as I thought it would be.

Huge upgrade in terms of light output. Also looks great! Thanks again Dave!

My 2017 TRD PRO headlights sold!

The only cons I can think of are fuming groceries in a covered bed maybe? And it's illegal in some states.
