First off I tried installing my compressor like this > https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/underhood-arb-compressor-mount-show-me-yours.603503/ | Reply #16 (relocating the horn and using the two threaded factory holes to mount the compressor)

I was installing a arb compressor onto my truck today and I wired it all up and to find out it does not turn on when turning over the engine and flipping the switch. The only thing that I didn't plug in was the ignition wire and the dash illumination wire. Are those two wires included for the compressor to turn on? Any reasons why it wouldn't turn on. I followed the wiring diagram. Do I not need to plug in the yellow wire and the dark green wire (I plugged it in, does it mean it becomes an uncomplete circuit since those two wire are for switch 1 and 2 and not the isolation switch?) Please let me know I don't have a lick of knowledge about electrical things.

Minimum connection is the IGN source (which can be Battery instead) it send the required "signal" so it runs ON. The larger fuses are for the compressor, the IGN is to tell it to turn ON. How did you wire the switch?

That’s probably what I did wrong, I figured it was the ignition like that I needed to connect. I’ll try it again this weekend and let you know.

I haven't tried hooking up the IGN source but alternately can you hook the "IGN" wire to the battery (positive terminal), will it be a parasitic draw on the battery if I do?

No, only if the switch is left ON. Since your system doesn't have an accumulator/reservoir tank, you'll know it's ON.
