What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I checked it out, it was $55 USD and $18 for shipping. after exchange that was close to $100 CDN...my wife would kill me!!

My buddy had them in his 3rd gen along with the dome, I actually thought they were too bright lol. But I figured with the functionality of the dual color I’d probably like these more

I definitely think they're too bright, and will probably look into a way to diffuse them a bit

 

Yesterday I installed some new struts on my topper, the old ones hardly held it up anymore. Also used some cerakote to restore the PopNlock and the plastics next to side mirrors. I didn't realize how much the faded plastics were bothering me until they returned to black!

I had the Meso ones in my 3rd gen. I just went with some cheaper leds in my 2nd gens. Bright enough for me. Domes have 12 chips and maps each have 10 chips. 6000k bright white is plenty for me. $12 covered both trucks with tons of extra bulbs for license plates, domes and maps.

 

Where can I get that bed mat?

 

Any Toyota dealer. Shop online. Sometimes get them for $85. Check ebay and Amazon too. Right now $88 to $90 on ebay. Make sure to get the correct length for short or long bed.

I don't believe these are, I think the 4S are. This is my 2nd set and they've performed just fine here in Maine during winter.

Annual oil change today. Five quarts of Lucas full synthetic 5/30. Toyota filter from my old stash…I think I paid like $42 for a 10 pack. Then went to the emissions testing place. Closing in on 160k but passed without issue.
