Evening gents, think me and the wife will be sitting outside enjoying a couple before bed tonight, definitely feels good out there.

Wow Kurt that came out really good, even after keeping the truck as clean as I do my hood scoop is starting to show signs of some sun damage. Gonna have to tackle it somehow. Thought about just wrapping it in matte black, but now that you detailed how you did yours, I might just redo the clear coat.

Thanks Danny. If you can unbolt that scoop, it would be super easy.

I’ll have to really get up there and assess the full situation, I’ve just noticed that spot has been getting bigger recently.
Lots of elbow grease! It is a nice big flat area to work though.

I didn't remember the color, but if you've got black under the ragged clear, you can make it black again. If you saw mine, it could have been taken down further, but all the color came back with the clear. Of course, my pro guy did it better with real products, and he gives me a great deal. You could make it black and shiny enough no one would know!

:pumpkin: Good Morning SA! Now THIS is the morning everyone thought yesterday morning was! Needed to turn on the heat in the sunroom! Great day for outside projects. Might even MOVE mowing day to Thursdays (GASP!) Then I can start on the greenhouse.

Might just have another cup of coffee!

Just watched a guy do a front break job on a 4Runner, put the grease on the front of the pads. Then he tightened the lugs in a circular pattern instead of a star.

I know it’s sort of trivial, the grease will wear off but, this is also the guy that is adamant his Triton V8 is a 5.7 liter.

Just needed to vent to people who will understand. Planning to drop this in another thread or two for discussion as well.

Good afternoon everyone. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Linwood. I am new to the area, within the last 18 months or so. Although I do not currently own a Toyota, I have snagged an allocation for a '22 T4R Pro. Although I am new to the region, I am not new to Toyotas. Previously I have had a 09 Tacoma and a 17 Tundra. I have strayed away, but am back for, what looks like a much longer stay.
