MESO X MORIMOTO Full LED Tail lights

This cat shouldn't even be able to review without a purchase. It won't matter though. We love wasting money.

 

Any of the reviews, previous to receiving the actual product are lame. Like the 4 V2 map light reviews. They are probably a 5 star product but you can wait until you get them to actually say that.

 

Man, I wish I was in the states like you guys. This knob complaining about the price right on meso's site before they have even been shipped out. I'm up in Canada and got mine for 700 American after shipping. So that's 890 Canadian and I'll probably have to pay another 100 or more in duties (Love the new trade deal, I've never paid duties before lat year) when they arrive.

I have several other larger meso products and if the build quality of these tail lights are anything like the other products of his I have, I'd pay more. It's especially nice because I'm the only guy with a tacoma up here that I've seen with mesos stuff on it. So it makes my truck stand out when everyone else is doing one other thing

 

The only solution is the burry his shity comment with all our positive ones

So a few notes; The stock illuminates the foreground about ~4-5ft in compared to where the LED coverage starts. After that, the LEDs blow them out of the water for distance, intensity and width.

Here a video showing the functions. The turn signal will over ride the brake (kind of like a switchback). It's hard to tell in the video because the lights are so bright, but the turn signal IS amber. With the brake and running light obviously red.

@MESO, do the wooshing sounds when the turn signal is activated come standard? Please say yes

 

That’s an additional add on package lol . But really it’s my power supply kicking into overdrive because the signals pull more current.

With Morimoto already having a 3rd Gen full LED headlight and collaboration with @MESO, my guess is, maybe!

 

Can't wait to pre-order $1k headlights to replace the perfectly fine OEM LED headlights .........

If I remember correctly he was retrofitting a batch of Alpharex headlights with something better. Could be wrong though

 

Ya I thought they were alpharex too. I inquired about it on his Instagram and several people pointed out that they were the trd headlights not alpharex.

I just want to know if he's doing something so I can wait. If not I want to buy a set of the alpharex luxx (I like the drl dance when you unlock the truck), put the s1 pod in like he did for the high beam and try to replace all the white leds with yellow. I've never done a headlight retrofit but I have some electrical experience.

 

Not sure if hes still doing the headlights? He sold a bunch awhile back.

It was a no go on the headlights. Sold most of them (stock). Got busy with other products Tacoma, Tundra, 4Runner

 

Yeah I heard about that. I just figured if he's doing a colab with morimoto than there may be more in the future
