That's nothing. That's what you pay for good bags. I've seen $800 bags

I had too much to drink one time and fell asleep in a mummy sleeping bag. I woke up in the middle of the night, still drunk and tried to go outside to take a piss. I couldn't get my arms out and unzip in time and ended up pissing myself. No longer use mummy sleeping bags...

    Mostly stock for now...
Haven't been on the forum much in the last few weeks - been doing crazy day trips to our property that's 5 hours away from home...
At least the scenery is pretty, but there aren't too many flat spots - I ended up stacking rocks and digging holes to try and get the truck box level enough to sleep in...

Mountain warehouse designs and makes all of their own stuff inhouse (at least that's what the case was 5 years ago to my understanding) so it's almost always on sale on their websites and storefronts.
I'm disappointed in their bags (picked up an 80L+10L for around 180 and it basically fell apart after some use), but the sweaters are awesome. i have 2 and wear em daily throughout the winter for the last 4 winters.

My girlfriend has a mountain warehouse pack as well. Can confirm that it's quality, ergonomics and weight lack over even basic mec house brand. Her pack after a handful of uses already has fabric tearing and attachments coming loose in the stitching. Looks to be due to low quality material.

i've come to that same conclusion on the material for their packs, that it sucks.
    • material isn't great - but can hold up for a single trip (my bag allegedly has the ability to hide all the straps to toss into a plane) anything pas that and you're asking a lot from it. However the +10L day bag that mine came with had help up a few months of college commutes and geocaching adventures before the "Rip-stop" fabric itself fell apart (not even the stitching).
    • ergonomics (for my bag at least) is alright but certainly nothing to write home about
    • weight - heavy as sin compared to most other bags i've used till now.

glad to know i'm not the only with with such meh experience :cookiemonster:

My brother just got winter tires, shopped around got the best price he could, not one shop said there would be a problem.

The news is all garbage, they want to sell you covid shots. Believing anything on it, you might as well just believe in rubbing a lamp and wishes will be granted.

    ummm .....ya.
My buddy runs his own shop...between his two tire suppliers snow tire inventory is scarce at best. Containers are at a premium...last year shipping cost of a can full of tires from China.. 4k...this year North of 12k.
I got mine in June....buddy at the GM dealer says the same.
