Really wish there was a dislike button. Are you getting a new one? What's the plan here? I was hoping to get out on the trails with everyone again soon!

I had a 91 Jimmy 4x4 (s10 so the smaller Jimmy's not the cool ones lol) with two 10" infinity subs that literally blew the seal on my windshield when I turned it up with the windows closed one time. My windshield flapped every time I had the music cranked after that but I only lasted like 3 weeks, had noticeable hearing loss already and decided to pull a fast one and showed up at Future Shop at 9am on a Saturday (when I KNEW the car audio guy wasn't working) and returned it all and got a full refund. They even refunded me the labor they charged for the install lol, I felt kinda bad ripping them off like that (they do not do returns on car audio but with the car audio guy not there I got a brand new employee who was clueless so I got my money back.) Best stereo I ever owned but I lived in the North End at the time so I had to take the sub box and amps out every day when I got home and that paired with the hearing loss made up my mind for me. Ahhh to be young again! lol

Nah, don’t need a full size. And I bet they won’t be cheap.
Ah, no. I'll let someone else be their expensive guinea pig.
Agreed. Buttttt, there were 3 rust holes in the bed (disclosed to buyer), clear had all peeled and faded. Frame was still good but who knows for how much longer. Had to sell before it lost all value.
Dont really have a plan. I'd like a new one but there are zero available because of chips and covid so 2018+ are selling for more than new MSRP.
I keep reading rumours about a GR Corolla with the same guts as the GR Yaris (AWD, 268hp, 6-speed manual) but I cant wait that long.

There are currently 4 used Tacoma's(one or two might actually be new not sure but I think I saw a dealer sticker in the window of one of them), 1 second gen and three third gens at Greenwood Auto here where I live, not sure what they are asking but they are generally fair to what the vehicles are worth from what I have heard. Might be worth it to get in touch with them and see what they want for theirs? Just a thought!

anyone know if this would be illegal in Atlantic? ( Specifically NS )

Been meaning to move my hitch wiring up into the bumper for a year now, but as usual...... excuses!

I'm specifically referring to the Filip up license plate holder. When trailer wiring is connected the license plate would be angled up. Not sure if police would frown upon it enough to pull me over and give me hassle.

Where's the best surf in Nova? I've seen some really nice point breaks up there.

Not sure about the rest of NS, but Lawrencetown just out side of Dartmouth seems to get its fair share of surfers.

Probably depends on the mood of the cop. I think for it to be illegal you have to be attempting to obscure it or it can’t be properly illuminated by the side lights.

Would be hard to argue in court that you weren’t attempting to obscure the plate, even if you weren’t up to anything nefarious.

Who's replaced their steering rack and how hard is it to do? Like driveway and a couple beers or suck it up and just have the shop do it?

I didn’t replace mine on the 1st gen but I took it out, replaced some seals and put it back in.

Hardest part was getting the hose fittings off without damage. Not sure how the 2nd gens are but can’t be too bad

    nothing,
I just want to drink while KD does all the work, occasionally throwing my unwanted .02 in :D

Whenever my friends had some work that needed some help, they would throw the word "party" in there.

    Moving Party
    roof Party
    boat pull party......

it became a joke pretty quickly.

It's been leaking a while but now I have to fix it to pass safety. Or clean it up and take it to a different shop lol
