MESO Customs Dual Color Map and Dome Lights

This happens to the dual domes as well. No biggie

 

I think that might be a typo on @MESO's site maybe? The link on his site goes to bustabeatgeorge, even though it says bustabeast george on the photo.

I ordered yesterday as well and used PayPal. Figured worse case scenario I put in a dispute with PayPal.

 

Bustabeat is a dealer of mine. Small shop but I like to support the little guys! He got 100sets from me and should have them any day. So rest assured, it’s legit!

Mine are exactly the same way, two clicks to red, one to white. I though it was actually supposed to be that way. I don't mind it. I'm just gonna let it go that way.

That's why I snagged those bitchin' taillights as soon as they went up for preorder.

MESO and Morimoto? You cant beat that combo, lol.

 

I tested mine yesterday. One needed a double tap just once, then singles after that on multiple attempts including shutting things off.

In the end, just a very minor thing that is not an issue for me.

 

If you have it on red and turn it off does it come back on as red or do you have to go through the white?

 

Comes back on to red. Same if you have it on white

 

Yeah, it always returns to most recent state

 

I almost assumed it was on purpose. Means I cant accidentally change colors when turning on the maps.

Anyone know what the color temp of the white lights are on the ultimate dome light (v2 dual color)? I don't really want to do anything major for the map lights but can't stand the yellow / white contrast with the clean look of the dome lights. Thinking Diode's LED bulbs but not sure whether 5000k or 6000k most closely matches Meso's spec

 

Has anyone had an issue with the map lights where they won't turn off? Got them installed, played with the switch between them, push/pushed and held the button on them, then just to see I got out of the truck locked it and walked away for a few minutes. At no point have they turned off yet.

Did you physically push them in (as if they were the stock lenses)?
They don't have an off mode with the button, actually press them in.

New truck. I decided I NEED these! Just got my door handles. Hopefully the lights will be back in stock soon?

It would also be cool have green light like I tend to utilize in night flight.

 

How do you get the lights to stay red when they come on instead of white?

 

Push the little button and turn them red. They should stay on that color till you make the change again.

 

Weird... I turn them on red, and they stay on red when I lock the door. However when I come back and my key fob triggers the light, they are back on white again. Am I doing something wrong? I want them to stay on red, unless I hit the button and switch them back to white.
