Thank you sir. Unfortunately, our lease will expire in May 2022 and I don't think we will be renewing it.
I'm taking advantage of the view while I have it.

Not yet. Our corporate real estate guys work with us to locate our space. We have some input but the ultimate decision will be theirs.

Probably still better than a SF to Oakland move. I am sure my old employer probably spent whatever building cost savings they had in hiring private security to escort employees to/from the bart stations, etc..

 

Yeah... we shouldn't have a problem with safety or crime but there are a lot of decent office buildings with "less desirable" views.

 

I saw something on ESPN about Nick Diaz and Lawler UFC fight . Would like to see that. Is it pay per view @SRH?

Geology nerd trivia:

White sands is actually a humongous deposit of gypsum. Formed as an ancient ocean evaporated off, then the constant wind broke it off into tiny sand like particles and pooled it all together in that spot.

But I'll give a straight answer anyway.

I subcontracted residential trim for a good many years...there was more money in that.
I also made custom cabinetry from time to time.
I only make stuff for Mrs Gritto (and occasionally for friends)...but only when the mood strikes...and that's less and less often now.
It seems a pity to let all my tools stand idle.

I've actually sold a good many tools in the last few years.
Some because I had duplicates, others because I haven't used them in years.

 

I hear ya. It's really slow today, I just drove the bob truck to our offsite storage building just to walk around and stay awake.
