Sorry, the title may be a bit too long. Kind of strange for my first post, but here goes....

A while back (probably 6-7 years, maybe longer) there was a post on a forum about someone buying some parts from another person. The bad thing was, the parts turned out to be worthless, or the parts weren't sent at all, not sure on which. So the person posted all of the information they could, and the people of the forum ended up finding out who it was, as well as gather a lot of other information about this person. I think they even took some pictures of the persons home after they got the address (I believe someone's spouse was a cop, so they got a lot of information that way). Anyway, this thread ended up being about 200 pages and it was all over the internet. Does anyone remember this? Could anyone help me possibly locate it? I'd really appreciate it!

    Thanks!

Edit: I don't want anyone thinking I'm trying to find this person, I'm just trying to find the thread, for my own amusement, lol.

    Thanks!

A coworker was telling me how someone he knew went and bought a used car from someone, and the next daythe car wouldn't pass the emissions test. The guy tried to take it back, but was told it was final. I told him to tell his friend to bring an expert with him next time, and to also take it to a mechanic first. On top of that....when you buy a used car, you're buying it "as-is."

Anyway, talking about that made me start thinking about the thread (yup, I read the entire thing). I told my coworker about it and he said he'd also like to see it. I've actually told a lot of people about it, but could never remember where I read it. I just remember it being hilarious, so if I could find it again it could help me pass some time here at work (I wouldn't mind reading it again) and I could pass it on to some friends/coworkers.

Nah, I just get bored at work sometimes and find myself telling a lot of people about the thread, so I'd like to find it. I don't care about the scammer, I just want to find the thread!
