Till I found and cleaned the bearing packer I could have them done by hand.

yes indeed those K20 trucks had some big bearings

 

Just like pizza - even a frozen store brand is better than no pizza at all.

 

One of the few things I can find easiIy around here, I keep it in a zip lock bag on the oil change cart.

 

They wanted me to pay for a retirement lunch aka "bbq" from my last tour in Military...feeding a bunch of people costing me $450 if i remember right...i was like nope you cant make me pay for it.

I didnt like 99% of them,why would i pay to feed them. I did get a few parting gifts...but i gave the double dueces and departed.

 

Smart though, I’ve seen that before on a few fixtures at another shop for, whatever they do there. I was just picking up spare parts.

 

Custom ground drill bit just came in for a job I have to do, the big part is 1 1/8”

 

Those and those like idonesian or phillipian guys who build stuff out of dirt. Easily wasted time. Speaks to me on that 'when I was a kid I always wanted to dig a big hole in the back yard' level.

 

Damn! Don't even want to guess what the price of that little toy is. What sort of job?

 

Boss just told me it was CNC ground, $119

Actually that seems pretty reasonable. You have fun with that!

 

Lately because it’s coming to the end of mowing season soon… I enjoy the slow mow… early in the season…

Oh yeah those guys are cool! There’s another guy, in Europe somewhere I think, that builds mud huts and ovens and stuff.

 

I went to lunch, came back and quit my last day at my previous job. Didn't even bother turning the truck off, just handed the manager my laptop, company credit card and keys and said adios. And then immediately drove to my current job to sign paperwork and get started. I was unemployed for all of 20min.

 

I use a small ZT for most of my mowing, it zips along without wasting any time.
