Did you all re-use your OEM TPMS sensors? I just got my 16x8 -20 set delivered today and wondering if I can re-use my TPMS.

I'm using mine. wheel place charging $20 a wheel to transfer and relearn. Dealer charging $100 for each sensor.

This was just covered 1 page back.....yes, you can re-use the TPMS sensors. They do stick out pretty far though so don't catch em on a rock.

I got matching spares but I keep them at home in the box. Is that okay?

My comment was completely in jest. Yes, I'd keep it in the box, before I'd stick it under the truck.

No ones calling you out, it's just that a matching spare wheel should be mounted with matching spare tire and available for use in a pinch, otherwise the utility factor drops by 100%.

Lets be honest....a lot of people with TEs will just be calling AAA in a pinch situation.....tow truck won't have a problem navigating the mall parking lot either...

Nah everything clears perfectly fine complete lock out both ways. Did a cmc for added clearance. At the moment not doing any “off-roading” just had a baby so it’ll be a while hopefully by then I’ll have the funds to get a proper suspension setup And Oahu is pretty limited with places to go. You can pretty much make anything in Oahu with a fully stock suspension

    Mounted!

    Discontinued Volk TE37X progressive
    16x8 -20 offset
    Matte blue gunmetal finish
Ceramicpro professionally applied at APC Autospa
    Rays lugs
    Yokohama Geolandar X-AT 265/75/16
    Stock TRD PRO suspension

This finish is very dynamic. Changes shades of blue/grey in different lighting. Very impressive. I purchased an additional set for the spare and have SINGLE spare wheels available in the above offset and finish. Also ceramicpro ceramic coating applied. Makes clean up a breeze! Price is $775 shipped per wheel.

Wait hold up. So you have an additional set of 4 Volks (on top of the ones you have on the truck), plus a spare for each set?
So you have 10 Volk TE37?

Damn @msgs350, you're not the only Cement Tacoma with matte blue Volks in the greater Seattle area... need a matching spare? ;)

    ha! All good.

Nah, I’m not about that matching spare life.
I don’t do 5 tire rotations nor do I want to fuss with 5 TPMS sensors.
