I would love to test out some HDsprings.
I currently have your hangers installed. I have had them for a couple years now and they are amazing. Great improvement to the ride.
I am currently running Dakar springs with OME and they ride fine, but I have recently installed a GFC camper and when I’m fully loaded for camping I do notice that the handling off road with turning can get a little squirrelly. It also sits pretty low.

Post #1 has several reviews on the difference people feel. The people who just swap to Hh at one time, get to directly compare them to stock hangers, those are the people who realize how much Hh do.

When you change everything at once, you don't get to realize how much Hh do, you just think everything came out good.

Wish I had those HH's already too. Also not sure if I have enough added weight to run these. My truck is still mostly stock as far as weight goes at the moment.

Probably the wrong place for this but looking at Icon RXT leafs right now bc I don't think I have the weight to run these proper. HH's are on my list of upgrades though.

He may have been referencing the MD leafs in relation to stock weight

I thought I would take a minute and write a review of my Hammer Hangers. I told Eric I would write this a couple of months ago - better late than never! :p Besides, now I have many more miles of experience with them..........

    Installation

Installation was not hard, just a little tedious. Two of us spent around 3 hours getting the factory hangers off - working slowly. I cut off the rivet heads with a cutting disk on an angle grinder. Once the heads were cut off, a course flap disk was used to flush the rivet to the hanger. There was minimal damage to the factory hanger - but it didn't matter, as those went in the scrap pile. A long pry bar and air hammer with a chisel bit (used as a wedge) were used to persuade the hangers off of the frame. The driver's side hanger popped off - the passenger side took a little more persuasion. Once off, the rivets were ground down close to the frame. (You don't want to grind on the frame - and it is not necessary.)

I used my c-clamp style u-joint press to remove all the rivets from the frame. A 3/8" grade 8 bolt was used to push the rivet through the frame. For the upper rivets, I made a spacer out of a scrap piece of pipe, to support the press on the frame. We tried a couple of different methods, but they proved to be more work. The press easily pushed the rivets.

The holes were drilled out to 1/2", the frame was lightly sanded, and painted gloss black.

Mounting the HHs was easy - just had to finagle them between the frame and spring - and not scratch the new paint!

I had a set of new Toyota spring shackles (I bought from a member on TW), so I did not have to extract the factory bushings. I pushed in the new urethane bushings Eric sent me, and assembled.

    Driving Impressions

Believe it or not, I noticed a difference going up my driveway on the test drive. I could feel the rear suspension working! It's amazing! The truck feels in control - the bumps are absorbed by the suspension, while the truck tracts straight. At this point, I have 6000 or so miles on them, and some with trailers - heavy utility as well as my teardrop. The truck handles and behaves exactly like I expect it to.

I haven't done any serious off-roading since I installed these, so I cannot comment on that. However, I think I can safely assume that they will work great in the dirt.

It's hard to put into words. My Ranger had a great rear suspension - easy droop/flex. I was surprised when I got the Tacoma how non-compliant the rear suspension was. Now - OK, when I get longer shocks - the Tacoma suspension will rival my Ranger suspension.

EDIT - I am running custom Deaver leaf springs.
