What do you do for work?

I’m sure you have worked on our gear boxes then. We send them out and have them rebuilt when they go bad or start leaking.

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for 17 years and now can't wait for retirement ...

 

The last few we have done were boxes that operated ski lifts. In the off season we get a few so they don't break down in the middle of Winter.

Some glamour shots from the last couple weeks of no stop OT days launching and receiving pigging tools for the pipeline. Luckily only a once in seven years event, almost felt like I was back in the military with the amount of sleep deprivation.

 

For the most part I actually liked being an RN especially in psych. Im in oncology now and I enjoy my co workers company a whole lot

 

Substitute teacher with the permanent gig of textbook (including ancillary and teacher materials, novels, etc) warehouse manager for the school district based at the high school. I assist in the library when needed and sub in classrooms when necessary.

 

I'm a certified API (American Petroleum Institute) inspector/project manager for a small inspection company. I manage a handful of chemical plants in our area that we have contracts in and complete inspections on piping/pressure vessels/storage tanks as needed. Most of the time I just have to make sure the customer's are happy and our employees are doing what is needed.

 

I’m retired, turns out I have a knack for doing nothing.
Had 34 different jobs before retiring.

Web designer/digital marketing for over 18 years.

 

I work IT in the energy sector, mostly end user support at the moment but really enjoy analyst work on systems and software upgrades/implementations.

 

Parts Department at a Residential & Industrial Generator Service company. Generac dealer and we service Generac, Kohler, ONAN, etc

I’ve been working for the last 3 years at a tech startup in the climbing industry.

 

After 20 years split between being a diesel mechanic and semi-trailer wreck rebuild mechanic I shifted gears at 40 and and now do physical therapy in the hospital as a PTA. I'm the guy who drags you out of bed after the docs put the pieces back together. Getting ready to treat patients in Covid ICU below.
