    I have been looking everywhere and I am wondering if its even possible to mount a light onto the windshield frame but does anyone know if anyone makes this bracket for 1st gen. Tacomas?

    na ill drill holes but i was looking at the window sill and theres not much there.....

    yea thats kinda what im talkin about but itd be pretty awesome to have 1 of these on each side of the windshield wired to 1 remote. if this makes any sense!

    I foresee wind noise being an issue with anything mounted to the A-pillars. With a Wrangler's aerodynamics it won't be noticeable :p, but on a Taco it might.

    go to the hobby store and get an RC 2channel controller with two servos. Make a box to screw the servos into, and plate on a ball joint above. with the 2 servos connected to provide up/down and left/right movement to the plate. mount light on plate and weather proof somehow.

    hardest part I see is being able to hook into the 12v DC power (prob in your dome light). you would need to find 12V DC servos or a power converter to do the job. I bet the guys at the hobby store would love to geek out on this idea.

    or to avoid all this you make the light battery powered with a large RC lith-ion batt. I would then make it a magnet to stick it where you want.

    maybe Ill try it if I have any $ left from the tax refund!
